Welcome beautiful soul — I’m Kim Shotola, founder of The Lightfoot Way, multidimensional mentor of light, sacred soul communicator, and author of The Soul Watchers: Animals’ Quest to Awaken Humanity.
My mission is simple and sacred:
To help those who are especially sensitive and empathic remember who they truly are — a divine soul of radiant light.
To support them in expanding their consciousness into their highest frequency through deep connection with animals, nature, Mother Earth, and other life forms.
This isn’t just about partnership or co‑creation — it’s about remembering your soul’s essence and embodying that truth. Through the teachings of animals and their allies, you can access the deeper truths of your being, expand your innate intuition, and step fully into the heart-centered life you came here to live — what I call a divine soul frequency life.
Throughout the world, people are awakening and expanding — not to what they can do, but to who they truly are. Animals are guiding humanity in that sacred remembering.
Co-Creation with Animals and Beyond
My husband and I share our Montana home with two horses, Spirit and Apache (on horse retreat page), two rescued dogs, Jackson (on home page) and Little Lady (seen here), and two adopted chinchillas, Muffin and Oreo. Our animals are sacred partners who also have guided students on their soul journeys.
Since 2006, I’ve taught thousands of students worldwide how to deepen their intuitive gifts and co-create with all of life — animals, trees, rocks, water, Mother Earth, and beings of light such as angels, dragons, ETs, and unicorns.
Many know me as a bridge between worlds – an animal communicator, especially with those in spirit or nearing transition. I’ve supported countless humans and animals through the sacred threshold of end-of-life and beyond. These are some of the most powerful, heart-expanding connections I’ve ever witnessed — and they continue to humble me.
In listening deeply to the guidance of the animals and St. Francis, I was led to co-create Sacred Animal Spirit Alchemy™ (SASA) with my dear soul sister, Allison Culver. SASA is an energy modality that honors the spiritual wisdom of animals and their desire to help us awaken to our divine origin. This is now the only form of energy work I teach — because it came directly from them.
From Zookeeper to Soul Keeper
My journey began in the physical care of animals — working at the Houston Zoo for 25+ years. I helped pioneer holistic care within the zoo, including my veterinarian offering acupuncture, chiropractic and laser therapy long before they were common practice — and this still continues today.
But the animals called me deeper.
What started with one horse, Tara — my heart and soul companion — opened a gateway to everything I offer today: intuitive development, soul communication, vibrational healing, and sacred co-creation with all forms of life.
From my first classes taught at a holistic veterinarian’s clinic to teleclasses then Zoom, to house and farm calls to transcript, phone, and Zoom intuitive sessions — it’s been an incredible evolving journey of my soul.
The Book the Animals Asked Me to Write
Just before the world would pause and awaken in profound ways, the animals urged me to write a book. I didn’t fully understand why at the time — only that it was urgent, and it was theirs.
In December 2019, that book became “The Soul Watchers: Animals’ Quest to Awaken Humanity” — a powerful transmission of love, remembrance, and soul awakening through the voice of the animal kingdom.
And when the pandemic arrived, I understood why they had asked. The world was ready to remember.
A Heart Note About Allison
For many years, I had the sacred privilege of co-creating and co-teaching with my soul sister, Allison Culver. Though we now walk separate paths, our love and friendship continue. I am deeply grateful for all we built together and hold her in the highest light as she steps into her next beautiful chapter.
