There are moments in our lives that quietly change everything.

Not because we recognize their importance at the time, but because years later we look back and realize one decision changed the course of our lives forever.

One of those moments happened to me the day I finally said yes to the animals.

For nearly two years they had been asking me the same question.

Would I allow them to show me their way of offering energy work?

I kept saying no.

Not because I didn’t believe them. The truth was that I knew the responsibility of what they were asking me and it felt overwhelming. Who was I to receive something like this? What if I didn’t understand everything they wanted to teach me? What if I missed something important?

Looking back now, I realize it was never about the teachings.

It was about me. Was I truly ready to trust? Was I ready to receive? Was I ready to step aside and allow the animals to guide me?

For two years, my mind tried to figure it all out. I wanted answers before I had even begun. I wanted to know where this journey would lead and whether I was capable of fully honoring their request. Looking back, I can smile because my left brain was doing exactly what left brains do. It was trying to protect me from the unknown of having no structure, not even the first step.

Then one day, something shifted.

I can’t tell you there was one magic moment. Instead, there was a quiet knowing that settled into my heart. I realized the animals weren’t asking me to come up with a game plan. They were simply asking me to trust them, just as they had trusted me enough to ask in the first place.

When I finally said yes, the teachings began to unfold over the next two years through the animals, nature, Mother Earth, and St. Francis of Assisi. My beloved heart horse, Tara, became one of my greatest teachers, gently guiding many of the foundational pieces of what would eventually become Sacred Animal Spirit Alchemy™ (SASA).

My teaching partner at the time, Allison, also received beautiful guidance, including a heartfelt prayer from St. Francis that continues to be part of SASA today.

What surprised me most was that the animals weren’t interested in creating another energy healing modality.

They wanted to help us remember. They wanted us to remember that we are not separate from nature. That energy and healing aren’t something we control or force.

That when we slow down, allow, and enter into partnership with animals, nature, and Mother Earth, something beautiful begins to unfold.

They also wanted us to see the world through different eyes.

A pine cone becomes more than something you see on the ground. An acorn becomes more than a seed.

A feather, a leaf, a shell, or a rock become sacred gifts from nature, each carrying its own unique energy and purpose. The animals showed us that Mother Earth has been offering these gifts all along. We simply forgot how to recognize their sacredness that animals have always known.

Even the elements began to take on new meaning for me.

The warmth of the sun. The cleansing gift of rain. The mystique of morning fog. The movement of the wind.

Even the powerful energy of fire, hurricanes, and tornadoes.

We often look at these through the lens of whether they are good or bad. The animals invited me to look beyond that and see them as expressions of nature’s energy. In SASA, when an element steps forward during a session, it does so with purpose, bringing exactly the energy that person or animal needs in that moment.

That way of seeing the world changed me.

Over the years, I’ve watched it change so many students from around the world as well.

Many people enroll thinking they are learning an energy healing modality. What they often discover is a much deeper connection with themselves, with animals, with nature, and with Mother Earth.

They begin to trust themselves more. They notice the wisdom that has always been around them. They experience life differently because they begin seeing life differently.

Perhaps that’s why these teachings feel so important today.

Humanity is moving through tremendous change. Many people feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and are searching for something they can’t quite name. At the same time, I’ve never seen so many people longing to spend time in nature, deepen their spiritual path, or reconnect with what truly matters.

I don’t believe that’s a coincidence. I believe the animals knew this time would come.

Sacred Animal Spirit Alchemy wasn’t created to teach us how to communicate with animals.

It was created to help us reconnect – with ourselves, with animals, with nature, with Mother Earth, and with the sacred partnership that has always existed between us.

As you enter into this sacred partnership, they gently help you remember your innate intuitive abilities and trust the wisdom of your own soul.

If your heart has been quietly nudging you toward a deeper relationship with animals and nature – if you’ve been longing to trust yourself more fully – or if you’ve felt there is something more as part of your spiritual journey, perhaps this is your invitation.

Our next Sacred Animal Spirit Alchemy Zoom Certification Zoom Class begins September 1, with early bird tuition available through August 15. Click here to learn more. (For those in or near Livingston, Montana, I’ll be teaching it at my home on Sunday, September 26. I’ll be emailing those on that email list with those details.)

The magical trio, as I affectionately refer to them, and I would be honored to welcome you.

A Gentle Reflection

What if animals, nature, and Mother Earth (trio) have been trying to help us in ways we’ve simply forgotten to notice?

Sacred Alchemy Blessings!

Kim
